Writing Circle 2

If I was invisible for a day I would follow my 8 year old around to see what she says and does when she is in school or outside playing with her friends, I would also spy on a family who is not nice to me, I think that would be a good idea and then my boyfriend to see what he does when im not around! Then I would know the truth about him.

Writing Circle

If I could fly I would fly all around town looking down on people, they would look  like tiny ants from above. I would also fly to Disneyland, people would think I was a fairy. After that I would leave there and fly somewheres warm to see Justin Bieber in concert, I would be shouting and yelling his name and then I woke up and realized it was all a dream because I dont even like Justin Bieber.

Former teacher ready for doomsday

Bruce Beach is 78 years old former teacher who is ready for doomsday. He haves bunkers in ontario where he built in the 1960's , He belives the world could end or at least there is a chance it may.
I do not belive this is going to happen because there have ben times before that people were saying it was going to take place , I really dont think anyone really knows when its going to happen or if it will even happened at all. I try not to look into or read about it at all.

If I won the miner hockey

If i was to win the minor hockey ticket with the money i would probley go out and buy some clothes for myself and the kids , toy etc...take them somewheres fun for the day but i wouldn't waste it on things i don't need, I would put money away for bills that would be comming up in the new year cause we all no everyone could use extra money around Christmas the bills don't stop in the month of December lol...but all in all i would hope to save it for a time i need it and could use it the most.

I  believe yhat the poem is about a women who is pregnant but is unsure weather to be happy or scared about the situation she is in. As she is at the doctors office unsure what my happen while she is there so she is kitting her nerves away making something for the baby she is having.

weekend and getting ready for christmas

on the weekend i spent alot of my time cleaning and getting ready for chirstmas, ryleigh and kaiden had there christmas concerts last week and they did an awesome job and looked so cute...on friday i spent alot of the day cleaning for christmas and on saturday kaiden and madison went to my brothers for a sleepover which was good , i still had lots of cleaning to get done but i didnt do a thing bc i just relaxed and watch tv , not offten i get to do that!! lol i only had the baby cause ryleigh was down her grandmothers....on sunday i took the kids skating and then came home and put up the christmas tree which im glad that done with, now to move on to the next things that have to be done for christmas , i still have oragizing to do and also lotssssss of shopping but i always wait till the last mintue to do everything...anyways thats about it for today

A Worn Path

A Worn Path by Eudora Welty is a story about a black women named Phoenix Jackson who travels a path to get to town , on her way she haves to over come alot of things along the way. While travelling into town its a cold winter day in December Phoenix imagines things that are not even happening such as a little boy trying to give her a piece of cake. When she runs into a man who helps her up he tells her its too far for her to walk all the way to town, but she knows she must go in order to get the medicine she needs for grandson.
Phoenix is old and having trouble seeing which makes her journey alot harder , once she get to the hospital  she is subjected to racism by another lady but she gets what she needs and heads back home to where her grandson is waiting.

My weekend

On the weekend I did a lot of cleaning for Christmas! On Saturday I had a birthday party to go to from 2-4 , then had to go home and get ready to take the kids to the parade at 6 which meant I had to leave early in order to get a good spot to park but it was worth it cause the kids really enjoyed the parade! Once we left the parade I had to take them to get something to eat then home to get ready for bed. After the kids went to bed a few friends came over for drinks, I was after buying a 12 ft snowman so everyone enjoyed getting the picture taking with that lol. Sunday I did more cleaning and put up some more Christmas decorations its hard trying to get everything done with 4 kids running around plus having to do shopping!!! There's not enough days in the year or hours in the day lol

Today haves be going pretty good today wrote the 2 tests and done really well for the first time writeing a test in a long while. I have lots of things to do today and when I home , glad there is no school till monday so I can get a good start on the christmas cleaning , I have nothing done yet!!..

test tomorrow

I have 2 quiz's tomorrow and iam hoping I will be able to study for them and pass because I have darts tonight. I know some of it but not all! lol , spelling the words will probley be a issue for me since I use google for a spell check lol..anyways don't have much to write about other then that.

The Road not Taken to me seems to be about a man who is unsure of what path to take in life and what one will be best for him in the long run for his future and life. He believes one way will be easier and one may be harder so in order to make a decision he seems to be weighting his pro's and con's on what each road will lead him.

CBRM Studying outdoor smoking ban

What the cbrm is trying to do is a study on whether or not they believe that smoking outdoors is a big enough issue to make it a bylaw! Since reading this and knowing now what the cbrm had tryed to do with other things in the community and have yet to resolve these problems. I do not disagree fully because I don't think people should be smoking in public places were children are present such as parks, schools and sport complexes. People who don't smoke choose not to for their own reasons so why should they have to breath it in as well. Most places you go to now have no smoking signs unless your 25 feet away from the building and people don't listen to that so this bylaw won't change anything. Waste of time and tax payers money to do this studying, the money could be and should be spend in other places and on other problems in the communities.

1st Day of class

Today was my frist day back to school in almost 7 years!. wasnt to bad the math was a little hard but i'm sure ill get the hang of it at some point if I just put my mind to it. Aunt shirley was a little help lol she knows more then me right about now.
